Privacy Policy
Your privacy is guaranteed
on this site!
Although I am a fierce,
rabid ACLU-like defender of privacy (having been a victim of identy theft
perpetrated by Kimberley McCarter of Philadelphia PA, who is now a conviced
felon), you have no privacy when you visit my site. All visitors are scanned
with that new scanner thingie like they use in the Chunnel, the one that
sees right through your clothes... well, maybe in the future. I check
the server log frequently for signs of hacking attempts, and in the process
I follow users' patterns of viewing my site, like where you've come from,
where you go, and how long it takes. I've been known to look up an IP
address on Arin.net, and I do track referrer activity.
Copyright policy
Everything on this
site is copyrighted, just not necessarily by me. Please let me know if
you plan to use my photos somewhere else. (I'd be honored and probably
say "just fine," as long as you aren't a plaintiff's attorney,
leftist, religious nutcase, or some other undesirable.)
Linking policy
You can link to this
site all you want without telling me because I'll discover it pretty quickly
in the logs and I don't mind the publicity. Please do not link to this
site unless I can see where the link is coming from (i.e. no links from
behind password-protected sites, please). Do not link images embedded
within your site--host them on your server. I will change the URL
and cause your visitors a 404, or worse, I will substitute the picture
you deep-link to with a picture of my chosing, which may or may not be
offensive, embarassing, or otherwise unbecoming of your site. Pay for
your own bandwith. Innogize.com serves up as many as 400,000 page
views annually with almost as many pics as the average two-bit p.r0-n
site, and I'm not paying for any extra bandwith.
Disclaimers
The screwed-up opinions
expressed on this site are not the opinions of my employer(s), clients,
etc., and are purely my own.
Please do not submit
content from this site for class projects. You'll get an "F"
like I did, but unlike me, you'll deserve it.
Any material submitted
to me via e-mail or other electronic communication becomes my property
and may be posted on this or any other website or distributed in any manner
I chose. "Material" includes subpoenas, cease-and-decist orders,
spam, unsolicited correspondence, or any other correspondence received
electronically that is not guaranteed confidential by explicit written
prior agreement.
If you object to this
privacy policy or think I'm stealing some intellectual property of yours,
write me and I'll think about it before the next Innogize, Inc., Board
of Directors meeting, which occurs on or about February 30 of each year,
in the Standard Oil Building's 95th-fl boardroom. The public is welcome.
Make reservations in person with security.
